This is what strikes me about Mike Huckabee – I know perfectly well that some of his political views are completely repugnant to me, while with others I might just find them disagreeable; but I still find him amusing, witty and likable.
Four years from now, that interpersonal charm he possesses might win over many of the people who aren’t as strongly opposed to what he stands for. That should be cause for concern, and I hope that enough American progressives are thinking about it right now.
