So, Joe Biden is Obama’s VP pick. There is plenty of discussion of his pros and cons out there, so I won’t rehash anything here. I don’t have strong feelings about the choice at all.
But the AP’s Ron Fournier does. He says Barack is a wimp and this proves it. If Obama was really going to bring a new style of campaigning and government, he would have chosen a small and helpless animal – maybe a goldfish or a Maltese puppy – as his running mate. “Debate that, Mitt,” he would have said. Then, the courageous Obama would have had his staff tie one of his arms behind his back and blindfold him. And only then would he have hit the campaign trail. The fact that he didn’t do these things, and instead chose an experienced politician with, you know, opinions and brains and words (lots and lots of words), makes Barack Obama a coward and a liar. So says Ron.
