I intend to write something more broadly about the allegations against John Howard of war crimes, but for the moment I just wanted to note the ongoing tragedy that is named Andrew Bolt. Bolt casts the ICC as , among other things, anti-democratic (why not just say “un-Australian”?), “unrepresentative”, “ineffectival” (sic), and “unaccountable”.
His alternative approach to foreign policy and international justice? The democratic, representative, effectival and accountable approach of relying on the will of the United States of America and the Green Lantern Corps.
