He might be happy to watch them get knocked over in shopping centres, but Team Howard isn’t actually attempting to deliver coherent policies for Western Sydney:
The Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC) wrote to the Liberal, Labor and Greens parties and their western Sydney candidates seeking a response to 17 papers on issues such as public transport, education and addressing social disadvantage.
The organisation’s president, Tony Hay, has thanked the parties for responding.
But he says the Coalition’s response is confused and disappointing.
He says it has been prepared for another organisation, the National Growth Areas Alliance, and recycled unedited to WSROC.
